Commissioned By Sydney Film Festival, the collection of posters were designed for the encore screenings of the feature films by Wong Kar Wai. Being a huge fan of Wong Kar Wai’s cinematic aesthetic, I was inspired by the visual cues, use of lighting and colour palette in Wong’s film , the recurring of frames within a frame and the use of contrast neon colours . The designs also pay my personal tribute to one of the most celebrated Chinese director of the era.
